Wii Syndrome Is It A Corporal Problem?
Nintendo wii games are different from other personal computer games. Instead of dispassionate moving the fingers it encourages children to physically play action games. There are inbuilt motility sensors, which allow the player to control the characters and actions on the screen. Also, Wii remote is stick shaped which all children like. This unique concept is closely watched by other manufacturers which would lead to a healthy competition in computer games. In near future, market will be flooded with computer games that would claim to reduce persuaded calories whether that game is played for a certain age period.
It is not surprising for any latest technology or innovations like this is heavily criticized. Critics claim that Nintendo is causing many injuries. Someone even coined a term called wii syndrome and many quickly set up websites which deal with this so called WII syndrome, On the other hand provided you sit back and deem about the so called WII related injuries, most of us will definitely agree that it is not in that of WII nevertheless because of our over enthusiasm and aggressive involvement with the game. Nintendo has confirmed that the product itself is completely safe and fun to use. According to them Wii passed all safety tests and is completely fine if we benefit it with the guidelines they compass specified. As suggested by the spoke workman of Nintendo, the wii remote are responsive enough to detect babe movements and it is you to be blamed if you call it rigorously and there by getting injured.
If you carefully analyse the injuries that bear bee reported so far, injuries to children are as well minimal. Most of the injuries are reported in parents and adults who are playing along with their children or due to carelessness of the gamer. It is not a secret that as we grow old our entity is not used to repetitive and unaccustomed work and most of us know we duty to warm up before doing any kind of repetitive or prolonged physical activities. One thing is clear; it is our age to be blamed not the technology. On the other side this facts is encouraging as most of the parents gain started playing the games with children. This testament assist improving the bond between them and children thereby improving the family values. The games are so alluring that they encourage the adults who usually chalk up a sedentary essence style to involve and get some physical activity. Well this unique technology might be a weapon to tackle obesity in our society.
Almost all of the injuries reported are avoidable; by just following the instruction that come along with the Wii and doing some warm up exercises and giving a pause at regular intervals, it is possible to adore this unique and exhilarant technology without hurting ourselves.
